old Spring Lodge is located in a lovely mountain valley in the heart of New York State's Catskill Mountains, at 1400 feet of elevation. The property is situated on 40 acres of land in the "Forever Wild" Catskill Park. It faces Balsam Mountain, one of the highest peaks in The Catskill Range and is 4 miles from Slide Mountain, the highest peak in The Catskills.

The Lodge has 7 cozy, individual two and three bedroom efficiency cottages. All of them have a real wood burning fireplace, television and DVD in the living room, full kitchen, dining area and full bath. Some cottages have decks. They come complete with linens, towels, cooking utensils and firewood in the winter. They are fully heated. Pets are allowed. Free wireless broadband.

The Esopus Creek, famous for trout fishing runs, through the property. State marked hiking trails and mountain biking trails are a few minutes away and there are antique shops down the road. Tennis, golf, tubing The Esopus, and canoeing is just a short drive. In the fall, after foliage there is hunting for deer and bear and the winter features both downhill and cross-country skiing.

For your convenience there is a lovely Restaurant and bar on the premises with outdoor dining.
